Last year Google shut down its development of the VR painting application Tilt Brush, but rather than killing the innovative program, thankfully it decided to open source the code.
Already a group has creative a variant called Open Brush.
This is great – now a community of development might spring up around the open source foundation. I previously speculated that something like TiltBrush could become a powerful tool for lighting designers to ideate in BIM projects.
Just look at this one wild example from artist Michelle Brown:

Artists like Anna Zhilyaeva have created some stunning 3D artwork.
