How will digital interaction disrupt centuries-old concepts of architectural design? There is a revolution underway in how location-based experiences are conceived, designed and executed. The digital and physical worlds are fusing together, with physical architectural spaces evermore considered to be portals to the virtual world. Tying our physical spaces to the virtual world requires a host of radically different design theories, design methodologies, technical skills and project execution. Let’s explore how this fusion of physical/digital is rapidly transforming retail, hospitality and many other applications.
