Way back in ’23, I was trying to scrounge up some freelance design projects and pitched several architectural and decorative lighting manufacturers. It turned out to be a hot AI summer, where I generated ideas for over a dozen product lines built on hundreds and hundreds of renderings made in Midjourney. Unfortunately, none of those product ideas came to fruition before I found my current fulltime role at Megapixel. Design concepts don’t stay fresh forever and as these concepts are already approaching a year old, I figure I should unveil a few of the tastier leftovers! Mmmm! Yummy design inspiration!

I pitched a luxury decorative lighting company on using continuous LED COB flexstrip inside of incredible orbiting bars of glass for a fresh new chandelier aesthetic. The resulting concept was Glass Swirls. Enjoy!
