Just a couple quick videos of direct-view LED displays in retail applications at Schiphol airport here in Amsterdam.

Many folks haven’t caught up to the fact that “video screens” can now be in any shape, format or size needed. Direct-view LED panels are now available in flexible formats, very high-resolution formats (<1mm pixel pitch) and can be tiled in any shape required.

This LED display column is a great example. No bounds to the imagination.

Large format LED walls can provide huge impact on creating a retail brand experience. This store by Tony Chocolonely has very sparse, simple retail merchandise displays, really just 2 islands and a tabletop. But the visual impact of the prime LED video wall at the scale of the high-traffic airport terminal is quite impressive. Plus integrating LED displays down into the merchandise floor units synchronizes and scales the effect.
