FullControl GCODE Designer is an interesting academic research project developing a purely parametric system for generating 3D printed models (as opposed to traditional 3D modeling software). FullControl is led by Andy Gleadall, a lecturer at Loughborough University. Gleadall’s LinkedIn feed has been quite interesting to follow.

Parametric design and digital fabrication technologies such as 3D printing is set to transform how architectural lighting systems are integrated into modern construction projects.
