Amsterdam-based InventDesign recently launched a line of decorative LED wall panels which they call their “Gobo” series.  A “low resolution” RGB LED engine with ~38mm pixel pitch combined with decorative cut-out facing panels makes for a nice stand-alone decorative wall panel.

Of course, I’m a preacher for what I call “embedded lighting“, so I love seeing products like this and hope they soon move into more complete architectural solutions for entire walls or ceilings.

And I like their reference to old-school gobos in theatrical fixures!
