VANTOT is an Eindhoven-based design studio started by two recent Design Academy graduates.  I saw one of their products, “Current Currents” at the Frozen Fountain, a perennially fabulous design shop in Amsterdam.  I love the art deco/arts-and-crafts style of the product. “Current Currents” would fit in perfectly in a Frank Lloyd Wright home.

I also like how it reinforces the concept that DC power helps simplify fixture design, allowing more creative explorations of “embedded lighting” in novel architectural surfaces.
