A great episode from Monocle’s podcast series “The Entrepreneurs”  interviews Massimo Buster Minale, the founder of the interior design brand Buster + Punch.  Its a fascinating story of how Minale, an experienced architect from big firms such as Fosters and Richard Rogers, took his personal obsession with building custom motorcycles and parlayed this into a hot design brand for furniture, lighting, hardware, etc.  Click here to go directly to the episode.

I particularly like how they transformed humble categories like light switches and light bulbs into objects of desire.  A really fun listen for anyone in the design world.
