I just noticed that Bill Sims is now serving as interim CEO for Cooledge Lighting, replacing former CEO Wade Sheen.  And also Phil O’Donnell joined recently as Sr. VP of Global Sales. So now two of the guys who helped drive Color Kinetics’s later-stage success are part of the Cooledge team.

 

Also:  Wade includes some insightful bits about their funding in his Linked In description for his role as CEO.  The highlights:  Cooledge has 70+ staff and received $40m+ overall funding.

As an aside, I find it interesting to note that GE Ventures has a piece of Cooledge Lighting.
