Corning has a pretty cool vision of the future, but this really takes the cake: Corning’s Willow Glass so flexible that it can be rolled up and used like a laminate.  It is shatter resistant and can even be cut with a circular saw without shattering.  What an amazing substrate — combined with conductive inks and a roll-to-roll printing and electronics assembly process, there is tremendous potential here for moving towards my vision of treating light as an architectural material.
