TiltBrush is a prototype virtual reality painting system.  Below is an awesome example of painting in 3D space while wearing a VR headset.  Especially cool is the ability to paint “light” as a brush — sort of like paint with Photoshop’s outer glow effect on, but nevertheless the potential for lighting design is very cool.

I’m waiting for the day someone combines this VR light-painting trick with Revit or Sketchup to create a virtual reality 3D architectural lighting design studio.
