My former Color Kinetics colleague Tom Hamilton (now a VP at Ketra) sent this link to a rather fun, traveling art piece called “Exxopolis” that uses pneumatic air structures in combination with richly saturated translucent acrylic panels to create color-soaked and extremely groovy installations. Developed by Architects of Air, this is supposedly the 20th year of these installations. Their tagline: “Architects of Air build ‘luminaria’ – monumental inflatable structures designed to generate a sense of wonder at the beauty of light and colour.”
