Microsoft continues its tradition of futurism, this time winning a Red Dot Design award for a concept called “Flowspace Pod.” The integrated lighting on both sides of the pod really caught my eye: Surrounding the large adjustable touchscreen (which reminds me so much of old-school drafting tables) and creating an elegant backdrop for video calls, the luminous surfaces looks like some form of soft textile for acoustic absorption. A great way to implement personalized circadian rhythm lighting.
