Wow, that’s a sexy looking R&D lab…from Apple’s September 2020 keynote video. Definitely looks carefully staged for the shot, but nevertheless an actual functional lab space? That luminous ceiling looks gorgeous and I can imagine how important it must be for eliminating shadows when trying to work with tiny SMT parts.
