How about this: Take a row of LensVector’s solid-state beam-shaping lenses and put them into an old-school wall grazer, something like the classic Edison Price “Spredlite” row of PAR lamps. The effects of the beams zooming narrow-to-wide along the length of a wall would be stunning. Imagine ripples running down the wall, pulses, waves, random sparkles, etc. Pick primary optics that actually produce some caustics and the effect would look like water. Add in RGB to taste.
