I like this chandelier concept called “Transforma” by Toronto designer Jacob Antoni – it reminds me of a Hoberman sphere.  The chandelier is a beautiful integration of LED lighting into wood.  Yet I also see lots of opportunity to use such a concept for complete architectural surfaces: Expandable/contractible or flexible systems have the potential to save tremendous coordination, supply chain and installation costs.
