An interesting back-lighting solution for illuminated sign boxes and architectural applications by Tension LED Systems. A series of LED strips are suspended on tensioned and electrified cables.
Without having seen the product first hand, the images on the website seem like it is a thoughtfully detailed and engineered product. But they sure love proclaiming it is patented – which to me is a bit of a head-scratcher, as electrified, tensioned cable systems have been around for years (like the classic old Bruck system). So other then doing it with LEDs, what’s new and novel about the concept?
