If you ever need some totally crazy DMX converter or interface (such as, if you need to use DMX to control pneumatic systems, DMX to control R/C systems, DMX to drive stepper motors!!!), try Blue Point Engineering.  I haven’t used them personally, but came across their absolutely CRAZY collection of custom electronics.
