CNC wire- and pipe-bending equipment is often used in steel fabrication like rebar cages. But a design shop called Pensa has launched a Kickstarter program to bring this sort of automated fabrication down to a smaller “tabletop” scale. They already show some examples of wire-framed light fixtures, but just imagine if someone combined a flexible LED strip onto a bendable substrate.
