The follow video just made my day….

Alex George, a freelance videographer and concept artist, put together what I always dreamed of making as a kid:  A fully functioning scale model of Disney’s Main Street Electric Parade.  The parade floats actually “drive” down Main Street, disappear backstage, and then reappear to start the parade all over again, using an amazing custom-built chain system and RGB LED lighting system.  And he didn’t just build the parade:  He made a complete model of Main Street USA, complete with the famous “firefly” lighting in the trees at the hub all the way to the color-changing castle lighting!

Needless to say, this is not a cheap hobby.  But the gauntlet has been thrown!
